Ukraine and Croatia have reached an agreement to use Croatian ports for grain exports.

Ukraine and Croatia have agreed to use Croatian ports on the Danube and the Adriatic Sea to export Ukrainian grain, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba announced on Monday after meetings with his Croatian colleague.

Russia pulled out of the United Nations-mediated Black Sea grain arrangement earlier this month, depriving Ukraine, a worldwide producer, of a critical channel for securely exporting agricultural exports amid the war.

“Now we will work to establish the most efficient routes to these ports and make the most of this opportunity,” Mr. Kuleba said after meeting Grlic Radman in Kyiv.

Ukraine presently relies on land export routes through the European Union, as well as a second route across the Danube River.

Mr. Kuleba stated that the major topic of his discussions with his Croatian colleague was firearms.

“I will only say that there are specific agreements that will be implemented soon,” he said without providing details.
