People Burning Casket of Dead relative's in China

As funeral establishments around the country are swamped with viral mortality, some individuals appear to be turning to alternative means of burying their loved ones.

In a video circulating online, a wooden casket is on fire in a remote province of China, burning the corpses in the streets. Although it is uncertain if the victim died of covid-19, numerous movies published in Chinese social media in recent weeks show individuals burning other comparable products. The film, which is thought to be from Shanghai, features paper wreaths and incense papers known as Jon's paper Blake. It is a typical Chinese funeral practice to burn them, and they are also used to honor the departed. In northern China, hundreds of tents have been put up in the courtyard of a burial home.

They're being used to keep bodies while the funeral home deals with overpopulation; moreover, another facility in northeast China erected at least four new cremation furnaces over the weekend. A clear endeavor to match service demand.

To satisfy the increased demand, crematoriums in Beijing are operating around the clock. A temporary hospital is being converted into a temporary crematory, replete with 200 cremation furnaces. Before Beijing reinstated the zero covid 19 policy last month, the improvised hospital was used to isolate covid 19 patients or their close connections.

China is currently dealing with a significant epidemic throughout the country; on Monday, a local health department in central China's hunan province claimed that as of January, over 90% of the region was infected with covid 19. That equates to nearly 88 million sick individuals, about the population of California, Texas, and Florida combined. The outbreak has reached this extent for the first time since China loosened lockdowns, according to an official health department. Similarly, China's communist party's senior epidemiologist stated over the weekend that when the number of covid 19 cases in China reaches a certain threshold, it becomes conceivable for new mutant strains to appear.
