MOSCOW—On Saturday, a Mi-2 helicopter crashed in Russia's central Kirov area, killing all four persons on board, according to emergency services.
The helicopter, piloted by one person and carrying a doctor and two paramedics, crashed in a forest near the town of Beleenki, some 700 kilometers (435 miles) east of Moscow, according to an online statement from Russia's Emergency Ministry.
According to the ministry, rescuers originally discovered three fatalities at the accident scene before discovering the fourth.
Authorities did not immediately reveal what caused the collision.
The Mi-2 is a tiny Soviet-designed helicopter that serves a number of roles.
