A tour bus crash in South Korea kills 1 Israeli and injures 34 others.

SEOUL, South Korea - A bus carrying Israeli tourists overturned on a route in southern South Korea, killing one woman and wounding 34 others.

The tour bus, which was carrying 33 Israelis and two South Koreans (the bus driver and a tour guide), collapsed Thursday on a slope in the southern city of Chungju, according to the Interior and Safety Ministry's website.

According to the report, a 62-year-old Israeli woman died and seven of the injured were in critical condition.

According to the ministry, the collision occurred when the bus slid backward as the driver was transferring gears. According to ministry authorities, the actual reason is being investigated.
